Dr. Bushnell is an author, childbirth educator, mythologist, and speaker with over 20 years of experience working with birthing families. She is an engaging speaker with a depth of experiences that leads to her profound insights into birth, parenting, and relationships. Her work brings practical and transformative ideas to healthcare providers.
During “Awakening the Parent: Are You Supporting or Sabotaging Your Client’s Transformation?” Dr. Bushnell will share her fascinating information on the dynamics of teaching new parents. She’ll explain why it’s so easy for us to unwittingly reinforce the idea that experts hold all the knowledge, leaving parents in the energetic position of the child.
